As the founder of the grace exchange, I began this movement for the love of words and the beautiful power they carry, to impact a life, or many. I have always adored writing letters, meaningful notes and poems since I was a young one. There’s something timeless about putting pen to paper that is available to everyone.
You don’t have to have any experience. You don’t need to have neat handwriting or even be good at spelling.
In the letters of love club I will share a handwritten letter every week and offer you a writing prompt to create a letter of your own. In my deep heart, I know from experience that the act of writing a letter is very healing and goes beyond what we can simply fathom. Even when it is not sent but rather berried, burned or offered to a river. We all have feelings and words that deserve to be witnessed even if only by ourself, and we all have a poet within!
I have moved through a lot of anger, grief and confusion in writing, as well as meeting profound revelations and joy. This artform is possibly the deepest friendship for me in this life and how could I not share that with you dear one. Come as you are I say, and fall in love with ALL that you are. There’s a mystic heart of delight patiently waiting for you to connect with it. That takes slowing down- often uncomfortable, yet priceless
